Admissions

Admissions to the Launchpad are via County panels and not directly through the school. In order to be considered for a place at The Launchpad children must have an EHCP (or be in the process of applying for one), with communication and interaction needs as their primary need. They will need to be able to access a mainstream curriculum with appropriate differentiation, appropriate to their age, with or without support.

Children being considered for admission will follow individual transition programmes involving visits to meet them in their current school or at home and meetings with parents and other professionals to establish a consistent, holistic and personalised approach to planning for the child.

Consideration will be given to the profile of current cohorts in the school and provision when offering places to pupils.
